“I have lived in Lee’s Summit for the past 21 years. After 26 years of marriage to Kati, I have now 4 grown kids. My oldest is married, but I don’t expect grandkids for a while. With more time to myself, I have renewed my interests in woodworking, and playing the guitar. We have 2 Bischon Frise dogs, brothers, who are not the smartest of dogs. I think their parents were also siblings. I could eat Mexican food daily, followed by chocolate chip ice cream. My favorite snack is cheddar cheese Chex mix, and my beverage of choice is Cherry Coke Zero. Though I have only been on 1 cruise, I have the bug and can’t wait to get back out on the big ships. I have a dream to hike the Appalachian Trail with my Eagle scout son.

When asked about becoming an optometrist, Dr. Yeager stated, “I chose optometry because I believe good vision is very important to maintaining a high quality of life and strong performance in everyday activities. I know growing up what a positive experience I had with my optometrist (Dr. Liesemeyer), and how crucial good vision was for me, especially with sports and the outdoors.”
Dr. Yeager loves the outdoors and on days off can be found hunting, fly fishing and BBQing with family and friends. He is so excited to be part of the Eyecare Specialties family and cannot wait to me you.
